Primarc Studio is an architecture and interior design firm based in Islamabad, currently working across residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects in Pakistan.
Our internship program is designed for architecture students who want to work on live projects, not just observe them. You will contribute to real work, have feedback from real client conversations, and leave with a experience that reflects genuine professional practice.
Why Intern at Primarc Studio?
Most architecture students spend years in university learning how buildings should be designed. Very few get to see, before they graduate, how a real studio actually runs, how a project moves from a first client conversation to a set of construction drawings, how decisions get made, revised, and defended, and what it takes to deliver work that gets built.
That is what Primarc Studio offers.
You will contribute to real deliverables, guided, reviewed, and held to the same standard we hold ourselves while having enough support around you to learn without being thrown in at the deep end.
At the start of each week you will know exactly what you are working on whether that is drafting construction drawings, building a 3D model, researching materials, or contributing to a live client presentation. The studio moves fast, and feedback does not wait for a formal review. A senior might stop by your screen mid-morning, look at what you are doing, and redirect you on the spot. That is not criticism that is how good work gets made, and it is one of the fastest ways to grow.
Most of your time will be spent in the studio, working alongside the team. On some weeks, depending on the projects running at the time, you may join a site visit stepping away from the screen to see how the drawings you have been working on translate into an actual building under construction. By the end of the week, you will have contributed something real. That is what we ask of everyone here, intern or not.
Who can apply?
We have welcomed interns from some of Pakistan’s leading architecture programs including NCA, NUST, UET, University of Gujrat, and CECOS and we are proud of the diversity of thinking that different schools bring into the studio. Every university has its own design culture, and that variety makes the work richer for everyone.
If your university is not on that list, apply anyway. We review every portfolio on its own merit, not on the name of the institution behind it. If your work is thoughtful and your curiosity is genuine, we want to hear from you.

That being said, we believe software is just an extension of a designer's creativity. Our process is rooted in fundamentals; every project's initial planning and iteration happens on paper. A strong portfolio, for us, demonstrates not just technical skill, but a thoughtful and creative process that begins long before a mouse is clicked.
